NAVAJO HANDCRAFTED DANGLE EARRINGS 14KT YELLOW GOLD

Uniquely designed oval dangle earrings. Set in solid 14kt yellow gold! The oval setting measures 5/8" x 1/2" and dangle 1" in total length when worn. They hang on 14kt gold dangle posts and backings. The Night Sky design is made up of individual hand cut elements. No paint or enamel is used in the patten. Look closely and you will see a red iridescent moon, a larger moon and the tails of a comet!

The Navajo believe that Father Sky contains everything unknown and therefor look to the sky for many of their answers. Due to the isolation of the Navajo nation the night skies are very dark and show many of the constellations that cannot been seen in other parts of the United States. The Navajo look to these stars for meanings and answers to their culture.
