This beautiful reversible pendant has a inlay pattern that is inspired by the southwest and Navajo culture. Specifically this pattern has elements the Navajo Rug. These patterns and designs reflect the clouds, storms and rain in the sky as well as desert landscapes. This type of inlay is very difficult to do and only a few artists produce this type of jewelry. The bail is large enough to accommodate up to a 6mm chain or bead necklace.Set in solid sterling silver with genuine dark blue Lapis, brown Jasper, blue Turquoise and fossilized wood called Jet. The iridescent blue coloring is cultured opal. The Navajo artist has also crafted an image of a bear ( the symbol of strength and power) out of silver on the reverse side.
