Navajo handcrafted ring from the 1970's This ring is a wonderful example of the era. Set in solid sterling silver and genuine Lone Mountain Turquoise. The setting measures 1" x 5/8". The beautiful silver work surrounding the oval stone really makes it stand out. Easily sized to fit most fingers. 1970's NAVAJO HANDCRAFTED RING The Lone Mountain Turquoise Mine, near Tonopah, Nevada, was one of the leading producers of fine turquoise in Nevada. The turquoise is graded into golden matrix, black matrix and spider web. At present, most of it is cut and polished or the nuggets drilled and polished at the mine, making this is a very collectible turquoise, and rarely available in rough form. It is presently closed.
