Ornate sterling silver cuff features a large, oval-shaped turquoise cabochon with a delicate, dark matrix. Hand-cut sawtooth bezel is framed by twisted rope wire flanked by raised parachute conchos and heavily stamped elements. Even the underside of the band is stamped! A must-see and wear. Navajo handcrafted and stamped by artisan J. Nelson.
Measures: Band measures 1 1/8" wide tapering to 5/8" at the tips. Inside measures 5 1/2" with 1 1/4" opening.
Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
