Shadow box design w/ coral-Pawn Jewelry

Navajo handcrafted ring by aritst Tim Kee Whitman (TKW). The unique ring features a design called shadow box. A overlay pattern of feathers and storm winds can be seen surrounding the 2 coral stones. Beautifully crafted. 

Style: Shadow Box Design: A common jewelry technique used by Navajo and other Native American silversmiths to add interest and layering to a piece is a shadowbox. The shadowbox technique consists of a cutout top layer that is usually domed and that is soldered to a solid bottom layer.
