Crafted by Navajo artisan Happy Piasso ("H. Piasso") this black onyx statement ring features 21 sterling silver "shots" and twisted rope wire framing the oval-shaped stone. The wide, flat band is stamped and embellished with a silver bead where it splits into three and meets the mounting. Highly oxidized for a bold look.
Materials: Sterling silver, onyx Onyx is a chalcedony quartz that is mined in Brazil, India, California and Uruguay. It has a fine texture and black color and the name comes from the Greek word ‘onyx’. Sometimes, Onyx displays white bands or ribbons against a black or brown background and this variety is known as “Sardonyx”.
Measurements: Mounting measures 1" x 1 1/8". Ring shank measures 1/4" wide. Stone measures 3/4" x 1/2".
