Golden hills pendant by Murphy Platero

NAVAJO HANDCRAFTED CLUSTER PENDANT GOLDEN HILLS TURQUOISE

Beautiful cluster pendant by well known Navajo artist Murphy Platero. Known for his use of high quality stones and unique designs, this pendant is no exception. Measuring 3" in total length with a width of 1". The bail is heavily stamped with a opposing arrow design and accommodate up to a 20 mm bead or chain necklace. Signed by the artist. 

Stone: In the Russian hills of Kazakhstan sits the GOLDEN HILLS mine. The Turquoise is only mined in the winter months during the freezing cold and snow as rains flood the mine during the summer. The location of the mine is remote and difficult to bring equipment in and out of. It is the only Turquoise known to have the unique coloring of bright blue with a Lavender undertone.
