Navajo handcrafted inlay ring. Designed by renown artist Calvin Begay. Set in solid sterling silver with hand cut stones and cultured opals. The unique adobe pueblo design is meant to reflect the Native villages of their culture. The setting measures 5/8" x 3/8", that tapers slightly at each end. The sides of the setting features a straight line design that really make this ring stand out from the rest. The Pueblo design you see in your piece reflects the of the Navajo people’s lifestyle. The scenery is set in New Mexico, near "Shiprock" mountain. This mountain range is a sacred area for the Navajo. The black represents Father sky (everything known) while the pueblos are mother earth (everything known)
