This Navajo handcrafted cuff is one of the most comfortable you will find. THe scalloped edges give this cuff a beautiful look but also make is very comfortable. The cuff has detailed hand stamping throughout. The piece comes attached to its original pawn ticket. The term "pawn" refers to jewelry that has been pawned to brokers. The practice of pawning jewelry began in the early 1900's when Native Americans and traders would exchange jewelry for food and other necessities. It is still used today and is embedded in the Navajo culture.
