Handcrafted silver beads by Navajo artist Travis Teller. Made of solid sterling silver.The Teller family is renown for its silver smithing techniques in their chains and beads.Silver beads are a traditional art form of the Diné silversmiths.The beads have as many shapes and sizes as there are artisans. The traditional way of making beads is a time-consuming process. Each bead begins either with sheet silver or with silver that must rolled and cut. This particular set of beads is a wonderful example, a true collectors piece.

Travis Teller: He is from Lukachuhai Arizona, which is a small town located in the middle of the Navajo reservation, near the four corners area. He has been making jewelry since 2103. He has had many mentors in his life but has developed his own style and technique that resembles the original pieces made by the first Navajo silversmiths.
