Pawn Jewelry-Bolo tie w/ turquoise & brown cord

Handcrafted bolo tie. Made of solid of sterling silver with stabilized turquoise. The uniquely shaped bolo tie consists of 2 pieces of traingle wire in a curved shape with oval conchos at the ends. The free formed stone is centered in the middle and rises up from the bezel. It comes attached to its original red pawn ticket.The term "pawn" refers to jewelry that has been pawned to brokers. The practice of pawning jewelry began in the early 1900s when Native Americans and traders would exchange jewelry for food and other necessities, it is still used today.
