Navajo heart ring w/ coral cluster

Navajo handcrafted ring. The ring features a large heart silver heart with a cluster of 13 pieces of coral. Mounted in saw tooth bezels with surrounding bead wire and stamping.The unique design of the ring make this ring stand out from the rest. The ring shank is adjustable allowing the ring to fit sizes from 7 to 9 comfortabley. This is a beautiful ring.

 It comes attached to its original red pawn ticket.The term "pawn" refers to jewelry that has been pawned to brokers. The practice of pawning jewelry began in the early 1900s when Native Americans and traders would exchange jewelry for food and other necessities, it is still used today and is embedded in the Navajo culture.
