Narrow inlay ring w/ Night Sky design

Navajo handcrafted inlay ring designed by artist Calvin Begay. The unique tapered inlay pattern featueres Acoma jet and round silver stars and cultured opal shooting stars. Securely mounted in thick sterling silver, it has a light weight. Highly crafted and unique, it is perfectly sized to wear everyday.

Measurements: inlayarea  7/8" x 1/4 /  shank tapers from 3/8" to 3/16"

Design: Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Black you see is called "JET "and is a fossilized wood, which has been compressed over millions of years. Multiple pieces of stone make up the mosaic image. The stars are made from pieces of silver and the larger star and moon along with the shooting star are made from Cultured Opal.
