Lizard pendant w/ Night Sky inlay design

Navajo handcrafted lizard pendant. Made of solid sterling silver and designed by renown artist Calvin Begay. The pendant features a Night Sky inlay pattern in the body of the lizard. Measuring 2" in length with a width of 3/4" , this is a medium sized pendant. The bail is large enough to accommodate up to a 5mm bead or chain necklace. Beautifully crafted. 

NIGHT SKY JEWELRY COLLECTION: Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Navajo believe that Father Sky contains everything unknown and therefor look to the sky for many of their answers. Due to the isolation of the Navajo nation the night skies are very dark and show many of the constellations that cannot been seen in other parts of the United States. The Navajo look to these stars for meanings and answers to their culture.
