Handcrafted ornate ring in sterling silver featuring heavy stamping on the band and raised design elements flanking a hand-cut sawtooth bezel wrapped in twisted rope wire. The large, oval-shaped Kingman turquoise cabochon has strong vein of milk-chocolate matrix with small quartz inclusion. A real statement piece!

Artist: Delbert Gordon from Houck, Arizona, became a silver smith while working for a trader in Gallup. Over the years, he has created some of the most beautiful traditional Navajo jewelry in existence. He has been a great mentor to many younger smiths, including his nephew, Derrick Gordon.
Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
