Designed by renowned Navajo artist Calvin Begay. This Bolo tie was handcrafted in Gallup, New Mexico. Made of solid sterling silver this piece features a large trapizoidal shape with the Adobe Pueblo scene. It measures 2-1/2 x 2 x 1-1/2 inches. The mounting has detailed saw cut designs that frame the inlay area perfectly. Each element of the design is a seperate piece that has been carefully cut, sanded and polished. No paint or enamel was used in the making of this inlay pattern. The Bolo is strung on a hand woven black cord with a unique back strap that helps support it when worn. The cord measures a total of 44" (including the tips). The matching tips show a night sky design and dangle freely from the cylinder cones. Every element of the bolo tie (except the cord) is signed by the artist.
