Navajo handcrafted cuff bracelet made of solid sterling and genuine stones and cultured opals.The bracelet features a unique cuff design with saw cuts on the edges and throughout. It also has a raised inlay patten that goes from end to end. The artist has scribed "NEZ" on the inside of the bracelet. This is not your typical Navajo inlay bracelet, this is a special piece. It comes attached to its original red pawn ticket.The term "pawn" refers to jewelry that has been pawned to brokers. The practice of pawning jewelry began in the early 1900s when Native Americans and traders would exchange jewelry for food and other necessities, it is still used today and is embedded in the their culture.
