Navajo handcrafted cuff bracelet made of solid sterling and features 13 round green malachite stones.The simple design of the bracelet has a straight shape with stones from end to end. The artist is unkonwn but has stamped his/her hallmark of "LLLL" with the word sterling below. It is perfectly sized to wear everyday. It comes attached to its original red pawn ticket.The term "pawn" refers to jewelry that has been pawned to brokers. The practice of pawning jewelry began in the early 1900s when Native Americans and traders would exchange jewelry for food and other necessities, it is still used today and is embedded in the their culture.
