At that point she carried on his work. She now signs all the jewelry with her name.Originally Steven was inspired by the designs of the local church in Winslow, AZ. The church had symbols of fans, peyote birds and sunburst through out and it became the inspiration for this overlay style of jewelry. It has become very distinctive and recognizable of Steven/Kari Begay jewelry.
