Handcrafted 14kt gold pendant by Navajo artist Rick Tolino. This small oval pendant features a oval turquosie stone from the Kingman mine in Arizona. The beautiful lite & dark blue green webbing of color give the stone a look of water thus the term " waterweb" came to discribe this type of Kingman turquoise. The unique mounting has saw cut details that frame the stone perfectly. The bail is large enough to accommodate up to a 2mm chain. This is a fine example of a Navajo pendant in 14kt gold.

Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
