Small Petit Point Cuff by Betsey Begay Nez

This small petit point cuff was handcrafted by Betsy Begay Nez. The piece is solid sterling silver with turquoise stones. The cuff is the perfect size to be worn daily and is very comfortable. The design is traditional and would make a great addition to any jewelry collection. The piece comes attached to its original red pawn ticket.The term "pawn" refers to jewelry that has been pawned to brokers. The practice of pawning jewelry began in the early 1900s when Native Americans and traders would exchange jewelry for food and other necessities, it is still used today and is embedded in the Navajo culture. 

Measurements : Main cluster 2" across with side elements of 1" x 5/8" - Inside measurements: 5-1/4" with a 1-1/4" opening. This bracelet wil fit wrist sizes from 6-1/4" to 6-3/4"
