Small pendant w/ Jasper headdress inlay

Small handcrafted  pendant designed by Navajo artist Larry Yazzie. The unique  pendant features a headdress pattern floating in the night sky. Detailed saw cuts surround the mounting. The bail will accommodate up to a 5mm bead or chain. Highly detailed. (It is shown on a 20" - 4mm round bead necklace with black onyx, turquoise, cultured opal and coral stones.) Design: Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. Brown Jasper is used in the headdress design and the black you see is called "JET "and is a fossilized wood, which has been compressed over millions of years. Multiple pieces of stone make up the mosaic image. The stars are made from pieces of silver.
