Small oval shadow box earrings

Navajo handcrafted post earrings. The unique design of the mounting is referred to as a "shadow box" due to the recessed area created by the two pieces of silver that form the shape. This creates a shadow that darkens the areas around the stone. Made of sterling silver with genuine turquoise. They are light weight and easy to wear.The come comoplete with their orignal pawn ticket from Gallup, New Mexico. Measuring 7/8" in lenght with a width of 3/8", they are a small to medium size. Silver posts and backings.
