Scalloped edge turquoise heart pendant

The medium- large heart pendant measures 2" x 1-1/2". Handcrafted by Navajo artist Bernyse Chavez. Known for her stamping patterns and her attention to detail. Genuine green Kingman turquoise is used for the heart. The bail is large to accommodate up to a 7mm necklace. Signed by the artist.This is a beautiful heart pendant. 

Stone:  Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
