NIGHT SKY RING- SR 2046

Hand inlayed in solid Sterling Silver then signed by Navajo artist James Lee, the ring features a heavy cast sterling silver shank for a very comfortable fit. Inlay on top of ring is approximately 1 " 1/8″ by 1/4″. The Night sky is Black Jet with silver stars. The Moon, Comets and Stars are done in cultured opal. Planets are inlayed with Coral. Notice the detail in the tail of the comet.  The position of the comet, Moon, Stars will vary in each piece as they are entirely inlayed by hand. A true work of art that you will be proud to wear. NIGHT SKY JEWELRY COLLECTION: Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Navajo believe that Father Sky contains everything unknown and therefor look to the sky for many of their answers. Due to the isolation of the Navajo nation the night skies are very dark and show many of the constellations that cannot been seen in other parts of the United States. The Navajo look to these stars for meanings and answers to their culture.
