Night Sky Bracelet by Fred Begay

Navajo handcrafted bracelet by artist James Lee. This unique bracelet features a wave shaped inlay channel. The design of the inlay is called Night Sky. The pattern is mounted high in the setting which gives the inlay a 3-dimensional look. Heavy silver is used in crafting the bracelet. Highly detailed with a glossy finish. Materials: Sterling silver, cultured opals, coral and Acoma jet

Measurements: 5-1/4 inside with a 1-1/4" opening ( all measurements are approximate)

Design: Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Black you see is called "JET "and is a fossilized wood, which has been compressed over millions of years. Multiple pieces of stone make up the mosaic image. The stars are made from pieces of silver and the larger star and moon along with the shooting star are made from Cultured Opal.
