Navajo collar night sky inlay necklace

Handcrafted necklace set by Navajo artist Clayton Tom. This unique necklace set features a collar style design with individual links that are hinged to form to any neck line. Made of solid sterling sivler, the inlayed links have a night sky design. The matching earrings share the same inlay style and curves as the necklace. The necklace has a light weight. With its elegant style and contrasting colors this is a stunning piece. A locking box clasp securely fastens the necklace. 

Material: Sterling silver, black jet, and cultured opals

Measurements: 18" in circumference - the links taper in size from 3/16" to 3/8" in the center- the earrings dangle approximately 1" when worn.

NIGHT SKY JEWELRY COLLECTION: Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Black you see is called "JET "and is a fossilized wood, which has been compressed over millions of years. Multiple pieces of stone make up the mosaic image. The stars are made from pieces of silver and the shooting stars,arrows and moons are made from cultured opal.
