Made of sterling silver and genuine Copper Mountain turquoise. Beautifully crafted by Navajo artist Happy Piasso, it features a detailed stamped elements that surround the stones along with a highly detailed bail. This is one of our largest pendants we offer and thus has a heavy weight. It is perfectly sized for a multi strand necklace or a large graduated stand silver beads.The 15 stones have a beautiful blue/ green coloring with a slight matrix of whites and browns. Pendants of this size are rare.

Stone: From the Battle Mountain area in Nevada. The turquosie mine was most notably known for its deposits of Blue Gem turquosie. The mine is now owned by the Copper Canyon mining company and thus the name Copper Canyon turquoise. The mine also produced large amounts of copper and gold.
Artist: Happy Piaso, Navajo, is 40 years old (2014) and is married to Rudie Willie. She was born and raised in Alamo, New Mexico and has 2 children, one of which is in the military. Happy was taught the craft of silversmithing by her husband, Rudie.
