One of most striking necklace sets! This set features a large cluster pendant (it can be removed), a 3 strand necklace and dangle hoop earrings. The set in made from solid sterling silver with genuine Golden Hills turquoise and laramar beads. the necklace measures 16" with a 4" extension. It has round and saucer style silver beads that have round Laramar stones throughout. The matching earrings are also crafted the same as the necklace.The center piece is the cluster pendant. Crafted by Navajo artist Albert Jake. It measures 4" in length and is 2"1/4 in width. Detailed stamping and stone design make this a beautiful piece. A true collectors piece. NAVAJO HANDCRAFTED CLUSTER PENDANT BY ARTIST ALBERT JAKE Albert Jake: was born in 1959 in the Zuni Pueblo south of Gallup, New Mexico. He learned silversmithing from his parents. He specializes in traditional set stones and cluster jewelry with intricate stamp work. He has been smithing since 1987. He also creates sand-paintings and makes pottery. During the summers he works as a forest fire fighter. He lives with his wife and two daughters today in Rahmah, New Mexico, near the Zuni Pueblo. GOLDEN HILLS TURQUOISE: In the Russian hills of Kazakhstan sits the GOLDEN HILLS mine. The Turquoise is only mined in the winter months during the freezing cold and snow as rains flood the mine during the summer. The location of the mine is remote and difficult to bring equipment in and out of. It is the only Turquoise known to have the unique coloring of bright blue with a Lavender undertone.
