Handcrafted by Navajo artist Rick Tolino. The pendant features a wonderful example of detailed stamping styles from repousse´to cold chisel. The artist is known for his high level of craftsmanship. The center of the pendant has a single oval Golden Hills turquoise stone with beautiful light blue coloring with dark brown matrix. The raised stone mounting along with the detailed silver work make this pendant stand out from the rest. This is a beautiful piece.

Measurements: 2-1/4" x 1-3/4". The bail measures 1" x 3/4" and can accommodate up to a 25mm bead or necklace
Stone: In the Russian hills of Kazakhstan sits the GOLDEN HILLS mine. The Turquoise is only mined in the winter months during the freezing cold and snow as rains flood the mine during the summer. The location of the mine is remote and difficult to bring equipment in and out of. It is the only Turquoise known to have the unique coloring of bright blue with a Lavender undertone.
