Medium size heart pendant-Night Sky

From our collection of Native American inlay art this “ Night Sky Heart” Pendant. Designed and signed by Navajo artist Calvin Begay.

The Pendant features an medium sized bail that will accommodate most chains and Navajo Pearls. Pendant and bail are approximately 1 1/2″ long by 1 ″ wide. The center design is inlayed with Black Jet, the Stars, comets and Planets are inlayed with Red Coral and Cultured opal. A true work of art that you will be proud to wear. 

NIGHT SKY JEWELRY COLLECTION: Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Navajo believe that Father Sky contains everything unknown and therefor look to the sky for many of their answers. Due to the isolation of the Navajo nation the night skies are very dark and show many of the constellations that cannot been seen in other parts of the United States. The Navajo look to these stars for meanings and answers to their culture.
