Kingman Turquoise cluster dangle earrings

One of favorite Navajo artisans crafted these beautiful earrings. Bernyse Chavez is from the Albuquerque New Mexico area. Known for her beautiful designs and high grade stones. These earrings are set in solid sterling silver with genuine Kingman turquoise. Measuring 2" in length a maximum with of 5/8". 20 individual stones are used in the design. Medium weight. Simple and elegant. Navajo crafted cluster dangle earrings by artist Bernyse Chavez Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
