Handcrafted necklace made of solid sterling silver by Navajo aritst Rose Martin.The necklace features a graduated beads that vary in size from approximately 7mm to 12mm. The spacing of the silver beads between the stones create a unique pattern in the necklace. Measuring a total of 20" in length, the ends of the necklace has a handmade hook and eye with a round silver disc with the aritst's name. This is a beautiful necklace with a traditonal feel.
Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
