This Navajo handcrafted pendant holds a single Golden Hills Turquoise stone with nice matrix with a stamped detail bezel. This pendant looks great on a simple chain or small set of Navajo beads.
Measures: 7/8" long x 5/8" wide with a 5mm bail
Materials: Golden Hills Turquoise & Sterling Silver
Stone: Golden Hills Turquoise is found in the Russian Hills of Kazakhstan where the Golden Hills Mine is located. The turquoise is only mined in the winter months during the freezing cold and snow as rains flood the mine in the summer. The location of the mine is remote and difficult to bring equipment in and out of. It is the Turquoise known to have the unique coloring of bright blue with a lavender undertone.
