Pawn Two Stone Ring with Southwest Details

From our pawn collection this ring is Navajo handcrafted and features 2 turquoise stones with southwest detailed hand stamping. This is one of our most comfortable rings and is a larger size. The piece comes attached to its original pawn ticket. The term "pawn" refers to jewelry that has been pawned to brokers. The practice of pawning jewelry began in the early 1900's when Native Americans and traders would exchange jewelry for food and other necessities. It is still used today and is embedded in the Navajo culture.

Measures: 7/8" x 3/4" mounting area with a band that tapers from 3/4" to 1/4"
