Long Lariat necklace set with "water web" Kingman turquoise. The coloring of this stone resembles the deep blues of the ocean.Ten beautiful pieces of turquoise make up the design of the necklace. Measuring 20" with 4" of graduated stones on the end. Set in solid sterling silver and handcrafted by Navajo artist Larry Mike Yazzie. Matching dangle earrings are included in the set.
Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
