This pendant is stunning. Handmade by Navajo Artist, Happy Piasso this pendant features a single Orange Spiny Oyster Shell stone with a star like design surrounding. THe bail has handstamp and repousse detail. This pendant would look great on a set of Navajo beads.

Stone: Spiny Oyster Shell - Living Spondylus shells are indeed very spiny, but the polished product looks very smooth. In the American Oceans, the Spondylids occur along the North American Coast, and Northwestern Mexico on the Pacific Coast. It develops in waters to South America. The Orange Spiny Oyster occurs in shallow to moderatley deep waters where snorklers and scuba divers readily harvest them.
