Handcrafted inlay pendant by Navajo artist Clayton Tom. He is known for his detailed inlay designs. This unique pendant features one of his signature designs consisting of Navajo Yei figure with a headdress all floating in the night sky. He also has moons,stars and shooting stars in the background.The multiple irredentist colors of the inlay are from his use of cultured opals. The pendant has a light weight and it easily fits on most small beads or chains. These types of pendants show the culture of the Navajo people as well as the craftesmanship of the aritsts that create them.
Materials: Jet (fossilized wood) , turquosie,jasper and cultured opals
Measurements: 2" in total lenght (includes the bail) with a maximum width of 1-1/8" - The bail is large enought to accommodate up to a 7mm bead of chain
