This adjustable ring is handcrafted by Navajo Artist, Bernyce Chavez. The ring has 4 perfectly matched Golden Hills Turquoise Stones set in a bloom pattern.The unique taperd ring shank features heavy silver and deep stamping. A wonderful example of a premier Navajo artist.
Measures: 1-1/8" long x 1" wide at the largest.
Materials: Golden Hills Turquoise & Sterling Silver
Stone: Golden Hills Turquoise is found in the Russian Hills of Kazakhstan where the Golden Hills Mine is located. The turquoise is only mined in the winter months during the freezing cold and snow as rains flood the mine in the summer. The location of the mine is remote and difficult to bring equipment in and out of. It is the Turquoise known to have the unique coloring of bright blue with a lavender undertone.
