A handcrafted Navajo-made ring featuring a large oval Kingman turquoise cabochon in a vibrant, sky-blue color. Piece has a high-polish finish with traditional "old style" decorative elements; smooth sterling silver bezel, twisted wire wrap and hand-stamped "shells" frame the sizable stone. Underside of the setting is uniquely finished with a hand-hammered "dented" texture, showcasing artisanal detail from every angle!

Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
