This gorgeous bracelet crafted by Navajo artisan Rick Werito features a large, highly polished Orange Spiny Oyster Shell in a raised setting surrounded by twisted rope wire set on a raised design of petal and fan-like elements assembled from thick cut outs of sterling silver plate. Raised silver appliqué, fan and crescent moon-shaped elements and deep stampwork adorn the the highly oxidized sterling silver band.
Materials: Sterling silver and orange spiny oyster shell Spiny Oyster Shell or Spondylus shells are, indeed, very spiny, but the polished product looks very smooth. The most used Spondylid Bivalve shell colors include orange, reds, and purples and may include distinct striations and color variations.
Measurements: Mounting measures 2 1/8" x 1 3/4". Cuff tapers from 3/4" to 1" wide. Inside measures 5 3/4" with a 1 1/4" gap.
