NAVAJO HANDCRAFTED RING BY ARTIST MARTY YAZZIE ADOBE PUEBLO JEWELRY
The unique oval design of the ring makes a great look. The design of the Adobe village is made of hand cut stones, no paint of enamel was used! The black coloring is fossilized wood, the brown villages are pipe stone and jasper with the star, moon and comets being made of cultured opal. The inlay area measures 7/8" x 1/2". This is a heavy ring that feels very comfortable to wear.
The Pueblo design you see in your piece reflects the of the Navajo people’s lifestyle. The scenery is set in New Mexico, near "Shiprock" mountain. This mountain range is a sacred area for the Navajo. The black represents Father sky (everything known) while the pueblos are mother earth (everything known)
