Wide inlay ring w/ White Buffalo stone

A GL Studio original design straight from Albuquerque . Featuring genuine white buffalo stone inlayed with silver elements. The inlay design is made up of triangles of cut stones. The wide inlay area curves into the flat sides of the ring shank allowing for a surprisingly comfortable ring. The flat sides keep the ring securely on the finger, while the flat bottom of the ring shank let the ring feel light on the finger. Made with heavy sterling silver, this is a one of a kind piece. Due the design of the ring sizing is limited but custom sizes can be ordered.

Measurements: inlay area 1" x 1/2"  /  shank tapers from 1/2" to 3/8"

Stone: The White Buffalo stone originates from the Tonopah Nevada area found in the same general veins as Dry Creek turquoise but has no copper content.  Considering this fact, it should therefore NOT be called “white, turquoise” as it does not have the same chemical composition as turquoise, which is a copper phosphate.  There is no copper to cause blue color or iron to cause green color.  It is a mostly clean white calcite/quartz mix with black chert inclusions (matrix) that are more sharply defined as opposed to being smutty.  The better stones have clear delineations of black and white.
