Handcrafted inlay ring by Navajo artist James Lee. It features a wide mounting with a unique elongated inlay area. The pattern of the inlay has elements of stars, comets and a moon in the night sky. The wide shank makes for a comfortable fit. This is one of the few pieces we have from James Lee and really represents his artistry.
Measuring :approximately 5/8" in width and tapering to 5/16" / inlay area 1" in length with a maximum width of 5/16
Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Black you see is called "JET "and is a fossilized wood, which has been compressed over millions of years. Multiple pieces of stone make up the mosaic image. The stars are made from pieces of silver and the shooting star are made from Cultured Opal.
