Small Golden Hills turquoise pendant-ANA 1522

Small turquoise pendant. Set in solid sterling silver with genuine Golden Hills turquoise. Measuring 1"1/4 in length and 3/4" in width. The bail can only accommodate up to a 5mm necklace. The stone is set high in the mounting, which show the coloring of the stone in a dramatic way. The Turquoise is only mined in the winter months during the freezing cold and snow as rains flood the mine during the summer. The location of the mine is remote and difficult to bring equipment in and out of. It is the only Turquoise known to have the unique coloring of bright blue with a Lavender undertone.
