Ornately designed ring features by a Navajo artisan features sterling silver parachute conchos and twisted rope wire framing a Kingman turquoise stone with dark matrix. A high-polish band with five-way split and traditional stamp work all around make this a very special piece!
Measures: Mounting measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/8". Stone measures 7/8" x 3/8". Band measures 3/4" tapering to 1/4".
Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
