Orange Spiny Oyster and Turquoise Three-Stone Cuff Bracelet by Happy Piasso

This gorgeous example of Navajo craftsmanship by Happy Piasso ("H.Piasso") features a large orange spiny oyster shell center with highly domed turquoise stones flanking either side of it. Twisted rope wire and polished bead accents frame the orange centerpiece while raised "shot" and shell-stamped elements sit at the outermost ends of the bezeled turquoise.

Materials: Sterling silver, orange spiny oyster shell, and turquoise Spiny Oyster Shell or Spondylus shells are, indeed, very spiny, but the polished product looks very smooth. The most used Spondylid Bivalve shell colors include orange, reds, and purples and may include distinct striations and color variations.

Measurements: Cuff measures 1" wide. Center stone measures 3/4" x 1". Inside measures 5 1/2" with a 1 1/4" gap.
