Large turquoise inlay feather pendant-Calvin Begay

Navajo handcrafted feather pendant. Designed by renowned artist Calvin Begay. The pendant measures 2"1/2 in length and is 1" in width.The unique hook design allows it to fit on most chains or silver beads. The silver has deep channel designs and compliments the center Kingman turquoise  inlay well.

Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
