All-silver statement ring features a prominent, domed central medallion flanked by fluted silver buttons, a twisted wire border and raised rattlesnake jaw stampwork. An oxidized finish accentuates the intricate, heavily stamped design.
Measures: Band tapers from 3/4" to 3/8" and is finished with signature deep-channel stampwork which fans out to meet at the 7/8" wide x 3/4" silver-domed mounting.
Artist: Delbert Gordon from Houck, Arizona, became a silver smith while working for a trader in Gallup. Over the years, he has created some of the most beautiful traditional Navajo jewelry in existence. He has been a great mentor to many younger smiths, including his nephew, Derrick Gordon.
Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
