Handcrafted by a Zuni artisan. Made of sterling silver with genuine stones and shells. Featuring an image of a Zuni thunderbird. The Thunderbird is a mythical creature of huge importance to the Native Americans of both the United States and Canada. An enormous bird, he symbolized great power, strength, and protection for humans against evil spirits. The design measures 1-3/4" x 1". It is made up of 24 individual hand cut stones and shells. The leather cord measures approximately 5mm in diameter with an overall length of 46".The silver tips measure 2" in length.
